In the 19th century, guides were known to give “sports”--the name given to the city-dwellers who came up to enjoy hunting and fishing--shot glasses engraved with the name Saranac Lake. That story may not be entirely true, but this shot glass is the perfect memento to commemorate a trip to the wilderness.
