Laurie Berube, an artist from the North Country hamlet of Vermontville, started making all-natural health and beauty products out of necessity. She was sensitive to chemical scents and artificial ingredients, so she decided to make her own. She shared them with friends and family, who encouraged her to make more--and you’ll be glad she did. This hand-cut castile bar soap combines the moisturizing power of olive oil with scotch pine, balsam fir, cedar and black spruce—just the thing to take you back to the Adirondacks no matter where you’re washing up.
