Weekly commentaries from the longest-serving "Enterprise" employee in the history of the Saranac Lake newspaper.
Howard Riley started as a newsboy for the paper in 1942. Since then, he has served the paper in various tasks starting with sweeping floors and supplying lead 'pigs' to the Linotype machines. He has been writing commentaries for the paper for decades. To quote the author, "It's been ten years since we published Volume I so trying to select stories that will fit in Volume II, from about 500 written in the past ten years, is enough to make a mare bite her colt."
